| should explain a bit more. My mk2 scirocco project has ended :( no more money, time, or interest to continue with it, so i'm breaking all the good bits from it and moving on. went to birmingham to pick this up. 1.8 16v mk1, interior is pretty shabby, but nothing i cant get around. i fully love being back in a mk1, already put my rocco seats in, and compomotives on future plans are, many more lows! coilovers look a bit seized, so i will have to free them up as it needs to go down around 2 inches all around after the arches get rolled. need to sort out the waterlogged footwell aswell once it's water tight again, i will sort the interior out for now though - im more to come soon | |

| Cheers mate. I did think about doing that, but this is the 2nd g60 based engine that has gone wrong on me, so i think I'm going to steer away from them. I do keep looking at the bahn brenner website at the 16v turbo kits they do. I might get myself a broken 16v engine and build it up over time. I'm just enjoying the fact I've got a working car for a bit | |

| I'm not gonna use them, so I will text you a price. Also sold all my engine parts minus the bottom end. The dude didn't want it so I can keep that to 1 side for you if you want?
Probably gonna have to purchase a touch up pen for these wheels, stonechips are a b***ard on them already :(

| Disc's on the wrong side mate.
Headlights look good, been thinking about getting some smoked for mine. Did you find someone selling RHD types or did you just go for some normally for a left hand drive car?

| Ah I didn't think it mattered too much. Still seems to stop pretty well. Lights are just for a lhd car. I just adjusted them down quite a bit and it's not too bad. 10 times better than the standard lights. I'm sure I will be able to bend the ear of the mot tester when the time comes | |

| I've seen em fitted both ways, different manufacturers have different fitting directions but its usually printed on the disc. 'Grooves are for removing dirt and gases from the face of the disc.' - HiSpec Motorsport Catalogue. 'Cross drilled discs offer improved feel/bite and are a more visual option for 'show cars'........ We do not recommend the use of cross drilled discs on any track day car or vehicles used for motorsport applications.' - HiSpec Motorsport Catalogue. Depending on which way the grooves flow, I believe they create turbulent air flow for better cooling, but only if theyre designed for it. Before reading that i thought it was primarily for heat and keeping the pads surface cleaner | |

| Cheers for the comments trying to decide on which carbon front splitter to get. It's gonna be dropped another inch or so once arches are rolled, so I'm thinking of getting a cl splitter. I would love the bigger one that whittle has, but don't wanna spend £120 on something that's gonna drag along the road all the time :S | |
