| Finished off my lights today, just waiting for the sealant to cure and put them in the car. Few pics from along the way... Painted: Problem is that the big light isnt a complete circle all the way around, makes masking a pain and the silver coating is VERY easy to damage. So got some vaselene and smeared it all round the inside of the lamp. Then got busy with the rattle can. Let the paint dry and with the use of a rag and cotton buds removed the paint... One down... Two down. Also worked out my knocking noise when turning right. Basically the standard wishbone mounts are too soft and the wishbone is hitting the subframe from the angle they are at Sneaky coilover shot.... now fully to the bottom. Comments welcome. Chris. | |

| Well had a bit of a failiure with one of the headlight glasses smashing. I think due to the roads and heating and cooling to remove the glue didnt do me any favours. So now on the lookout for a passengers side mirror glass. It then shed a rear wishbone bush two days before players so by the saturday evening new poly bushes were fitted front and rear. I cant tell you enough how s**t euro car parts were/are. So made it to players.. Cheers Jamie. So yesterday finally one of the coilpacks gave up (still original ones) so im on the hunt for one. Later on today its a case of removing the passenger wing and knocking the inner arch in so it wont rub anymore meaning i can go lower. | |

| Euro Car Parts have a coil apparently in stock. The question is, is it the correct one. I would be a first. | |

| Replaced my front wishbone rubbers with powerflex items the day before players as you can see they were phooked.. Few bit done over the last few days... I now have a functioning boot after installing a popper i got off Lee. I was going to wire it in off the rear wiper stalk but it wasnt so easy so i just ran a cable to the front. So I mounted the switch in the drivers footwell. Some winter rollers. 7x17" and 9x17". Just got them for the fact they will bolt straight onto my adaptors as they are, the et's should give a bit of poke too. On the hunt for some tyres now. I was going to test fit them but I cant find my locking key | |

| Nice winters Chris. I love Porsche Twist 1 piece wheels. Especially the 996 model. Would love a set in 18" for the Passat, but can't justify the price of wheels + adaptors + tyres. I actually think they'd look really nice in white. A bit cliche, but would look sick against the dark blue. They look mental on this E36... (I know, it's purple. Close enough!) | |

Don't blame you in all honesty. Silver is nice and subtle, and works on everything. Yeah, thats cool mate. Let me know when you've given it to one of them and I can either hand a tenner to them, or gift it to you via paypal. | |
