Big thanks to Joe welding my sump back together for me, Covered the weld in chemical metal too just to be safe. Refitted it all last night, runs fine. Expecting my engine raisers to arrive today so ill update with some pictures then.

Good news is my car is all finished, ill be picking it up Friday afternoon, so ill have a bit of time to get stuff done before the meet, mainly hoover it and sort silly bits out like a boot popper, remove whats left of the front helper springs and raise my engine. I have a fairly big list of stuff to do before editon anyway.

(its sitting in the driveshaft as it is nearly all the time).

Now my exams are over I have had chance to get on with a few bits on the car. It went back to the painters for a week to have the paint corrected on the bumpers as the new paint reacted with the old. Next up was to get my chassis notched to get rid of the driveshaft rubbing. Quick call to Guy and it was done.

This allowed more drop. So this is how its sitting.

Little more progress today, decided to strip my coilovers down and wirebrush them clean anyway so I took whta was left of the helper springs out. Slapped on some more copper grease, cut the bumpstops down and wound it down. Its 10mm from the bottom of the threads now with the helpers out "Sesil" The Mk4 20VT - Page 37 Icon_pirat

Leaves me with 23.5 inch floor to arch at the rear and 23 at the front, pretty happy with that.

Tomorrows job is to finish my lights, paint the calipers black and to dye my headlining.
