In the meantime i'll throw a couple of questions out there.....
How are your rear suspension bushes looking, is it a coilover issue or have you got a knackered bush?
Have you cut your bumpstops at all or are they all standard height? i've known cheap bumpstops to collapse on themselves and just mushroom, maybe this has happened to your drivers side rear and the car is sitting on the others normally if they havent been cut yet?
Have you had any fat people sit in the drivers side rear of your car? Fat people damage cars. fact. Cheers for your reply, i had the bushes changed to the uprated tt items about 6 months ago so i doubt its that, its not sitting on the bumpstops either. what im thinking is that when i put the springs back in do they both have to sit exactly the same i.e the coil ends the same on each side at the same point of you get me? - thermal wrote:

| The only part of the rear spring you have to get right is where it sits in the upper rubber mounting. Could also be the possibility something at the front is causing it to sit lopsided. How much fuel was in the car when you measured it? As most of the fuel tank is mounted towards the drivers side. I'd park it on level ground and measure the fronts too. I found mine sits ok at the back but at the front one side is about 5mm lower | |

| See what it is like once you are running a bit less fuel. Full tank of fuel so thats about 60 litres is quite heavy and will be weighted more to one side. Think it might be the source of your odd measurements | |

| I've heard it's because it's used to having such a large amount of gay in the drivers side that the coilovers have been over loaded | |
