Finally got all the new bolts, spacers and tyres together on friday, got everything on and im pretty happy with them for now, only downer is that the front srubs the arches quite a bit as the spacers have pushed the wheels out a bit, shaving tyres a bit, but hopefully this will all be sorted by/over this coming long weekend!

Fair enough mate. It was like that for me when I was running on the Merc wheels. The offset on them was incredibly bad. That with some 20mm spacers and non rolled arches led to 'groove-y' tyres...

Yeah, goin to look at a couple tomorrow afternoon and friday.
The bloke buying mine is coming over on the friday evening to pick it up, so I might have to politely blag a lift to get my new car on the saturday.

So where you gonna get them rolled then?

i just got back from driving to camb, and im not sure its THAT bad, i mean i know it needs to be done, but it's only scraping where the tread starts, so i can't see it being too risky and im sure it can wait a bit!

Gotta drive all the way down to coulsdon on friday to view the ohter one. Which is still pretty nice but not perfect. Only bonus is its £400 cheaper than the other....

I'd say stick your old wheels back on until you can actually manage to get the arches rolled.
I know you wont look straight up pimpin' for a while, but at least it means your wallet wont be spewing money out for some more tyres!

yeah, thats pretty much what i was thinking! hopefully i'll go at the arches this long weekend!

also, my scene roof bars arrived today, a pair of genuine merc ones though for holidays this summer! roll on the road trips!
