| Not having the best week with the benz, the constantly rubbish weather and the p**s poor work from MB when the car was built means that i've got two lovely big rust bubbles on the front arches, one has already cracked and split...
Also, while i was driving home the other night all my ESP/ABS warning lights came on, but then went off again when i restarted the car but my cruise control wouldn't work for a day
and then finally, yesterday, the car started to fill with the lovely smell of diesel and when i got out the car after about 30mins of driving, there was some lovely smoke coming from under the front wheel arch/engine bay.
there have also been a few rattling and whining noised coming from both the back of the car and the engine bay... The car is going in to be looked at at the end of the week, but i've recently been made a VERY tempting offer on a lower mileage, 2002 5.0 V8 S500, and if this is bad, i may well take him up on it!

| at the moment its freakin' tempting, although this weather seems to show no signs of improvement, in which case it's a V8 range rover vogue all the way! | |

Dont be silly. Get the Merc. Guarantee you'll regret the Vogue. Plus, those SL rims in your old mans garage would be the tiddayz on an s500. Also, you aren't black, you dont deal drugs, and you're not a footballer. I love stereotyping.

| the other merc is only an option because it's a steal, but i wouldn't look at the older ones otherwise, not after driving that new one for 2 months, that would be hard to beat!
as for a rangey, i've always had a very soft spot for them, ever since we had one and then sold it for our ML - never forgave my folks for that haha!
Im looking at all kinds of big cars at the moment, disco 3's are high up, along with the X5 and the rangey, also looking at toueregs and stuff like 7 series bm's and A8's, but i think i'll just get this one fixed and then have a better look in the summer, as i should be looking a bit better off as im moving out of my house in 6 weeks!
