Pre Germany update
Took the Golf to Peter Baldwin yesterday with Simon, after sorting idle mixture it was rolling roaded.. at a very pleasing 220bhp . this is optimistic but still real power must be around 190-200, and im more than happy with that.
Then I got round to the thing thats been bugging me for ages, the BBS kit. It was totally faded and patchy and hanging on the car by a few sticky tabs and screws, now its fully bonded on with sealant. But whats better than that is ive completely repainted it, looks soooooooo good and im well pleased.
after unwrapping the Golf this was the result, colour match is very good I think.
Tommorrow is the last day and if i can ill mop the rest of the bodywork, but even if i cant it looks much more respectable now

So its been a while since last progress update, but there hasnt been much progress lol. Anyway after surviving being thrashed around the nurburgring and loving every minute ive just being enjoying driving it.. Finally though i have got coilovers, a set of Gaz GHA's second hand, and tonight had a few hours spare so i decided to get them fitted, here they are..
Need to play around with ride height and damping but was getting late so will do that another day, but seems to drive nicely on them, so im very pleased.. Just need some nice rimz now, now its lower the wheels are letting it down badly..

Finally got some rims I can be proud of
Ive replaced missing grille badge and fitted new number plates..
And after scoring a bargain red trimmed complete dash ive finally got rid of the my original broken horrible rattling dashboard and replaced it for this one..
All in all a busy weekend, but well worth it
