| you can sort it with tracking, just be very careful so you dont put it out. on your steering arms wind one side out and one side in exactly the same | |

| Thats pretty much the way to do it but surely one end of the rack is fixed and doesnt have the same type of track rod end like the other end like on the mk2. I cant remember if the mk1's are like that, I could go down the workshop and check I suppose. | |

| Right, I understand you have it on a pin but how does the boss connect to the column ? surely its on a multi splined end with one big 24mm nut on the end ? Set the driving wheel straight and the steering wheel straight on the splines and adjust out the track rod end to suit or just remove the rack and put two adjustable track rod ends on. its a proper pain I know but more effective in the long run. I'd build one up and fit it when the weathers a little better. No easy solution or five minute fix. sorry | |

| I think there was meant to be a comma in the sentance ! As No, (you are quite correct) Thanks. Thats how I read it, UNLESS it was no not that pair of donuts I;m better on my own. lol The rack takes about an hour and a half to replace depending on how much room there is to get to it | |
