| Hey just a quick question to anyone in the know,
are all mk1 golfs fitted with the same steering rack,I looked at GSF and found a part number 43021,up to a 83 MY and just out of interest I found the same number for a caddy up to 92 MY, Im sure all the manual racks must be the same as there is no other part number available on GSF's website. Not even a powersteering rack, I later found out that vehicles fitted with a PAS rack were a in house dealer fittiment,
just wondered if the information i have found is correct before I get a rack in the week | |

| All the same as far as i aware mate. Heard a few peeps say that 4 speeders car have a different rack to 5 speeders but i have have converted cars to 5 with no trouble. Buy yaself some new bushes while ya at it. I guess you already know you track them up on the drivers side only? | |
