Thought so as they rub on mine, might be better with 185 tyres though.

Decided to go with 8's on the back of mine

its just on coilovers atm, and they are bouncy as f**k, which makes it worse.

thats also why the back isnt that low

get camber on it and slam ittttt

its odd, my rocco is lower than that and on 9's and it hardly scrubs at all. maybe the lower you go the stiffer the suspension gets

Its all to do with offsets and size of wheel diameter mark

Your wheels are 14's and no doubt an et of about 40 where's rm's are et33 and 15in diameter.

Meaning they already stick out further before adding wider lips

My OZ turbo's will be the same as they also et33, half inch wider than rm's from standard though

no the steffans are et 20 on the rear, the ebay cheapos on the rocco are solid!

ET20 explains why they tuck so well then

but they have 25mm spacers iirc, so an et of -5, score!

came home and took everything off the engine, and uplugged all the wiring, ready to drop the engine out tomorow ;-)

nope, i had the beetle insured as a classic with HIC, have to be 19

a lot of places say 21 but i had classic insurance at 17 on my beetle. Ring them and they usually change their tune. I find lancaster amazing for classic insurance. My e30 is cheap cheap but it is on really limited mileage as i will hardly use it.
