Not sure if it's relevent to your cause dude, but a lot of mk1's with cable boxes run mk4 tdi cables as they are shorter..... failing that ,just give me that shifter for mine ...

oh and go with the bonnet lift rather than vent.... why would you vent a mk1 bonnet wrong!!!!! ... those others step back...call your selfs freinds...shame on you

wire brushed all the old paint off that the shotblasting didnt



grinded the edges down to make them smooth



mounted up



primed up



then painted and laquered



then put them in an oven like a jew



they look better in the photos than in real life, theres some small runs and stuff but theyre the first things ive ever sprayed properly with a compressor so im pretty happy




now i need some tyres and theyre done

The golf looks awesome dude!

I like the bonnet raised with the blocks Mainly for looks...but it would definitely be worth it to have some sort of cold air feed running from somewhere to the air filter...you won;t ever get the full potential from the engine if you don't
