| You need to hook up 1 cable to the bottom on the forward back movement section, where it looks to be a threaded hole. the the other to the mount for the side to side motion. you will need to make a bracket on the tunnel or the shifter tower to mount that cable to. just search google images theres plenty of pics on there of motorpsort shifters and theyll give a the jist of it. | |

| yea yea i know 'how it works', i had a similar one in my escort track car. i just dont know 'how to make it work' if that makes any sense Ive got 3 problems; -the cables are too long -the tower is threaded for m6 bolts, while the cables will only allow an m4 bolt to go through the hole -the big mount on the end of the cable isnt removable, so its in the way so im hoping someone knows which cables i should use! | |

| I would guess your gonna need custom cables. Mine does and has connections for a VR box, although ive not tried it yet. i think rallye designs do shifter cables? or maybe demontweeks. | |

i hear that they use cables out of mk3 2.0 8 valves in rallyes so i might see if i can get some of them on the cheap im trying not to spend too much money on this until i get another job. anyway i got some alloy tube through and made some templates for the shape to bend them to hopefully i can get the pipe bent soon and fit it then start it up! and got the dash all sorted and wired up and the shift light and switches mounted. the big gap in the middle is deliberate where a high/low boost switch will go once ive had it mapped also there will be a launch control button there at some point in the future and ive still got a heater, but ive hidden the controlls | |
