Got the seized bolts out, and got them apart. but the bearing shells are stuck in so im going to have to make some sort of ghetto press to force them out. Ive got some geometry stuff planned too....

| turned this little sleeve on a lathe; it allows me to run the track rod ends on the bottom, rather than the top to give a better steering rack angle. i want to do something similar to the wishbones too. gave the wishbones to my friend who welded the s**t out of them. im so happy. mv developments quoted me about £65 to do but he did it for free! THE best welding ive ever seen, better than my banded steels and mocked them up with the newly sprayed hubs Need to get some polybushes, or i was thinking of making some solid ones | |

Reminded me that i have seam welded poly bushed wishbones on my caddy that i could fit on my golf awsome, i think it will make a fair difference man im trying to find some polybushes which arent ridiculously expensive! theyre all like £35! i could turn some billet solid ones for less than that possibly with sperical bearings, but the ride would be too harsh

| fitted the hub/brake assembly all together, found a problem, the brake pads hit the adapters so im going to have to get the grinder out. i went to test fit the wishbones and i cant get the old ones off it looks like the captive nut has seized to the wishbone bolt and then the weld holding it on has snapped. im so pissed off. i have absolutely no idea how to fix it But i got the reservoirs all sorted, and bled the clutch up. its pretty firm as its a paddle clutch, so i'm going to have a massive left leg once i start driving it! | |

| wishbones are getting powdercoated, should be able to pick them up at about 4 got some new discs ;-) look pretty nice, and were a good price. Ill probably get them zinc dipped at some point. thought i should better check the calipers actualy fit in the wheels! they just about do! but the clearance is ridiculous. the caliper hits this wheel weight! its only .8mm high! so i had to remove it | |

| na its all good, ill just take the weight off and put it elsewhere got the wishbones back from the powder coaters, i took them at 11, and got them back at 2! the morley brothers in cambridge quoted £60, but my mate did it for £20

Pretty sure the weights need to be where they are to balance the wheel
