im sorry dude half sprayed the bonnet in primer, then ran out half way through then a fairy landed on my dump valve which was odd, so i took a photo of it; Carbon fibre heater control bracket - saw it here first! and a washer jet blank some cool thing i found then i went and bought some more paint and sprayed the bonnet in guide coat. obviously needs a few more coats but the handbrake on my rallye calipers seized up big time, so took them off. im going to get some audi tt/leon cupra r calipers which dont seize up but one of the bolts that holds the stub axle rounded out, so i jammed a smaller socket over it and it sheared the bolt in the middle fml. so im going to have to drill it out but it seems to be a harderned bolt, and my drill cant even mark it! i might strip the whole rear beam while im here, but i might not....

| put a nut over the remaining bit of bolt sticking out, weld the nut to the bolt, let it cool down whilst spraying it with penetrating fluid and it should come | |

| not sure if your being sarcastic? incase your not... make sure you let it cool right down before you try and undo it though as the weld needs to harden off and the bolt is super expanded in the threads when its that hot so wont undo. | |

No its ok uncle lee ive got the stud out. wasted £22 on easy outs too sprayed up the stub axles Discs and new bearings in/on Sprayed the door handle inserts too and got a hilarious sticker although the grammars not brilliant! Also got some audi TT calipers wire brushed the s**t off them so i can paint them Im waiting on new seals and nipples which vindis said will be here tomorow Did some more arch work while i was down here, cut loads of slices then hammered the f**k out of it then ran round it with a grinder should help stop the 8.5"s rubbing

| So basicly havent touched this for a month or so been far too busy with work/girls/trackdays/getting pissed etc didnt like the chrome horn button, so made a carbon blank and relocated the horn to a little button got a new boost pipe, but the paint was shitty so i stripped it looks nicer than the plastic one. got the tt calipers on and bled up. I had to fit them upside down as the handbrake cables are too short. My friend lee folded me a battery box ;-) then i cut the wheel well out. ive been meaning to do this for ages before; got the fire extinguisher involved as there was lots of smoke and i was a little scared! after im going to cut this section out, then weld the battery box flush in here Ive ordered a massive peice of carbon, so i need to pop it in the flowjet to cut the circle out, then i will seal/rivet it over the hole. | |
