You will not get an insurance quote under 3k on an s14. Dale tried it before he brought his 300, even thought its slower its known as a drifter car so most people won't go near it.

It could be a lot worse remember I had one injector fail which them Cost me three grand to fix.
It looks like you might be in for £350 ish.

How old was your mate? I know someone who is 21 with an S14a running about 300bhp all mods declared insured for about £800 fully comp. Jap specialist will insure it for a good price compared to mainstream insurance companies?
