| maybe honestly though, for your own safety fit one, the arb holds the body square. if you remove it the car will roll from side to side much more and you will loose grip. Also its much easier to roll a car without an arb. | |

| do you happen to have forza 3? its so well made that the physics are almost exactly as would be in real life go on it, get in any car and buy a roll bar from the handling shop thing and try to roll it by doing handbrake corners etc then take the arb off and try to roll it then come back and tell me how right i am. | |

Say goodbye to the LCR splitter then. If you wind it all the way down on the front, either the car wont move due to splitter scraping, or it'll just clear the front and as soon as you go over a cats eye you'll lose the splitter. If there was a slight dimple in the road before a cats-eye, my front valance would hit the little rubber housing... And that was all the way down on the front.

Strutbrace serves a different function mate strutbrace hold the chassis taught an arb holds the wheels on the opposite axle against the floor

| Get a rear ARB on it too and see how much difference it makes all the under steer goes and you get much better turn in.
Even with a very low Mk4 without the front ARB it will body roll around corners and handle like crap............VW wouldn't of fitted one from the factory if it wasn't worth it

| The simple answer chris, is that your car is not goin to kill you and all of a sudden roll over because you dont have the anti-roll bar fitted. Peeps in the US have run wihtout them for ages with no real issues But yes have 1 will improve handling, but it aint a track car is it | |

Exactly. If it was a 400 bhp monster then I'd say get one. As its 150 bhp (give or take) then you're more likely to roll it due to driving like a tw@t.

Strutbrace serves a different function mate strutbrace hold the chassis taught arb hold the wheels straight An ARB does not hold the wheels straight.... and the only function of a strutbrace like that is to look pretty and lighten your wallet.
