Got the new tyres on the turbines today, car should be fully fitted and better than before, just in time for me to sell her

wow, the parts are all painted and polished, and Jay has done a sterling job, factory finish! im so happy with it, might even keep it if no one takes it in the next two weeks or so!

haha, yeah im watching a few sets of wheels and if i get them before the car sells im going to keep it over the summer and re-think the sale after edition or something. as for jay, well i'd still be putting my fingers through a rusty hole if he wasn't about.

maybe, but the E class is a much better car mechanically, and a better marque/model. now its straight im having proper second thoughts and might hold on a bit longer so i can buy something that is actually a step up, not down from what i already have.

Cheers dude, i drove it for the first time in a week or so today and i remembered how comfy it is compared the mini cooper S and the ML that ive been driving all week. I love the whole front end now, looks proper, just on the hunt for some new wheels now - looks like it will be staying a few months at least!

Just gotta smooth down the touch-up that I applied the other night and buff the polish on. But that can be done just before it gets bolted on.

This has been on my mind quite a bit this week (minus the red callipers - yellow all the way!)

So this morning I took a quick drive into Newmarket to pick up some Autoglym goodies and met up with a jay and ashley with a polisher...

Then we spent 5 and half hours turning the car back into something beautiful.

It's not a full on professional job, but not a bad effort for a sunny afternoons work.
