did anyone get a price for wheels, i need a set doin fairly soon

I took mine to the ironworks at lynn, and i wouldnt recomend them m8, have taken over twice aslong as they quoted and still only just been blasted, so im picking them up asap.

i cant understand,why you all think powder coating it the dog bits,its crap.if you are keeping your cars,spending all that money,it not the way to go:scratch:

Do enlighten us then mate?

first powder will soften with thinners petrol and brake fluid,cant be polished,
second, a one part system,powder on bare metal,just have a look at a child swing in the garden,rusting and flakeing, crap
a cheep coating.
any parts we paint we try to take them away from powder,and do them in wet,a 3 /4 coat system

o yes if part have to be filled you cant powder them

i do agree that powdercoating is crap... had one set of coated wheels and i will never have any again. When it chips it starts to flake off and looks crap, also the finish deteriates over time and i cleaned mine nearly every day so it wasnt neglect.

painted stuff for the win.

You could try GKL Coatings at soham, i had a few bits done and it wasn't that expensive.

Abbey grit blasting is a good company. They did a good job for some stuff I had done for work and were reasonably priced. They are however a bit out of the way near, over near Woodbridge.

Yeah not bad to be honest mine seems ok, took a little while but that was cos some of his workers a had a family emergancy.

imo powder coating is 5hite too the ninja wheels are and they are sily soft

if you want bits shot blasted and powder coated on a 3 day turn round give me a pm

at the moment we are,having to give 7-10 days turn around powder not so busy,but the wet side we are flat out,we must be good matey
