| Just found excellent little ironworks in Lynn that does really cheap shot blasting and powder coating, just had a look at his work and it's spot-on! Iv left him my KR manifold and rocker cover to do, i'll post up the results when i pick them up.. He's quoted me £15 to blast and the same again to powder coat each item! So in total about £60, he said he'll also bring up the flat surface on the inlet to a mirror polish!! Says he'll powder coat anything, calipers, wishbones etc, etc!!

Too right! Just look at the refurb service on ebay they're asking £80 and up plus £15 postage plus the postage it's gonna cost ya to send yours! Yeah i know it's supposed to be vapour blasted which does give you a smoother finish but according to my new buddy a vapour blasted finish wont ever be as hard wearing as powder coating.. result | |
