Cheap Powder Coating! Pics added!

Just found excellent little ironworks in Lynn that does really cheap shot blasting and powder coating, just had a look at his work and it's spot-on!

Iv left him my KR manifold and rocker cover to do, i'll post up the results when i pick them up..

He's quoted me £15 to blast and the same again to powder coat each item!

So in total about £60, he said he'll also bring up the flat surface on the inlet to a mirror polish!!

Says he'll powder coat anything, calipers, wishbones etc, etc!!

you got any details mate? im looking at getting my new wheels powdercoated and the cheaper the better!

He reckons it's good for 150 degrees too! they actually cook it at 200!

Just look at the refurb service on ebay they're asking £80 and up plus £15 postage plus the postage it's gonna cost ya to send yours!

Yeah i know it's supposed to be vapour blasted which does give you a smoother finish but according to my new buddy a vapour blasted finish wont ever be as hard wearing as powder coating..

Not bad at all mate

Been meanin to get me a set for last 3 winters!!

Need a bit of stretch on them there tyres boy!

lol yeah was tempted by stretch but dedicided against it cause id have hardly any rubber on the road lol and probably right my car off

if they were banded then it would be a different story

yeh only 6 id have to put a 165 tyre to get any sort of decent stretch i reckon

What colour is that Dan? I used halfords matt black and they came out alright, nothing special though

they look good
