Subject: problems with a MK4!!! Help. Sat May 09 2009, 16:09
My MK4 Golf has an intermittent fault - makes popping noises and judders while losing power. Smells of eggs every now and then, sounds like the Cat but it doesn't seem lose.
Any ideas??

Could be vac leak? injector fault,maf or coilpack broken down!
check seat.net forum so much info on there its unreal...

Changed the plugs over the old ones looked ok but I guess it could have been a miss-fire??
It's been 4 days and still seems ok!

same exact problem with mine 1,8t engines eat plugs ive put the ngk recommended ones in this time over the bosch ones.
