Not yet man. No where in Cambridge has the combination of a flat ramp and the lazers that attach to the hubs instead of the top of the tyre. I tried F1, Cambridge performance tyres, Regency Autos, Kwik-fit and International tyres and all of them said no.
But a guy from C' Performance told me that they can do it at their Bishop Stortford Branch so after giving them a call and chatting to a mechanic there I'm going to be heading down there on Saturday and see what they can do. Finger crossed ay. I was told by someone that Magnum Tyres in Haddenham (near Ely) can do this. It's called a "Hunter" machine. The alignment lasers bolt onto the hubs as opposed to hooking over the tyres. If Magnum don't have the facility anymore, then try a few places around here and ask if they have a "Hunter" machine. Not a lot of places have them, but it's worth asking about rather than travelling loadsa miles for an alignment.

It's not a problem finding a garage with a Hunter system that's making the search hard it's that I need them to have a Hunter system in conjunction with a sunk ramp (MOT style) but it still needs to be a alignment ramp as they have extra stuff on them. As I said I'll give these guys in Bishops Stortford a go first.

| f*****g Finally! Got a mate to give me a lift down to Stortford yesterday afternoon to pick up my newly aligned car. I've got to say the people at Stortford Performance Tyres are top lads! They didn't complain once about my car being low, sorted out everything to a T, adjusted my rear camber to 2.5 degrees on my request and even stayed open 10 mins after normal closing time so I could collect my car. I really would recommend them to anyone Now I've sorted the ride height, bushes and camber out the only thing left on my immediate to do list is replace my brakes as I may of warped them a little whilst having some fun with an RS2 Has anyone on here got any experience with EBC Red Stuff pads? | |

They're what I'm going for dude. In combination with the EBC Ulitimax disks. I think I'll do front and rears in separate month though as fronts alone come in at £270

| I wouldn't bother with 'branded' discs
Get the cheapest dimpled/grooved ones etc and the best pads possible

Na dude disks are almost as important as pads. Besides brakes are the one thing I'm not going to skimp on

| A14 tyres in Bury could also have sorted you out, they have a sunken ramp with alignment stuff that clamps to the rims so lows are no problem, they've done my last 3 cars and didn't even charge me for doing the Rado and Passat. Ollie's the man to see there for future reference | |

Needless to say there was much braking and down shifting which my new brakes didn't seem to like all that much.
