Even though it was pissing it down on Saturday I decided to get s**t done. No during pics as I was too busy working but I've got plenty of after pics.

The result

Not yet dude I need to fine tune the height still. I had to raise the front up about 3/4 of an inch because it was literally undriveable. I got beached on a flat road Laughing Because of this the back now sits about 1/2 an inch lower then the front so I'm going to put the adjuster rings back in or I may just make some 5-10mm ally spacers for them. Can't be having reverse rake now can I.

Four wheel alignment has now been booked in for Wednesday. The caster and camber is so far off unless I get it sorted soon it's going to rape my tyres.

Sorry to say this Max, but not a fan of the indicators.
Rest of the car looks great (especially plateless), but the indicator on the right side makes the car look thinner now that it's been tinted black.

I'm guessing it's Gunsmoke Lamin-X you bought?
I had it on the 318is headlights and it did the same. Looks fine in the shade, but red/purple when the light hits it.
How about subtle-tint? Not as dark as Gunsmoke, but makes it look more OEM+ and doesn't go all purpley/red in the light. More of a grey look really.

Hey ho, that's just my $0.2.

Looking good dude, tint the fogs and maybe gloss black the grills, I reckon it would look better. x

No can do I ordered the film not the spray. I'll give you any if there's some left over though.

I'm thinking of using some of the lighter tint on the the main headlight part. I see your point but the idea for this is to make it as mean as possible. Maybe if I decide to change the direction I'm going in I'll do it your way Thumbs up

jimmymidnight wrote:

Maybe, maybe not. I quite like the contrast between the matte and normal paint. I'll get the rest of the front sorted and then go back to the grills.

No point dude. My sneaky way of getting over my speed bump has turned to mud with over use. No matter what I do to the tyres they'll be muddy by the time I get out of my drive.

Got the rears done last night. Not sure about using them to be honest, they look dope as anything but because the vinyl is so thick it's quite obvious when your up close. Perhaps I'm just nit picking though. Sorry about the crap pics in advance.
