| Wouldnt know m8, i bought it with the engine in it. but its not really a difficult conversion. its a common misjudgement that an 8v has more low down torque, at no point in the rev range does an 8v have more than a 16v, it jus appears that way cuz of the extra pull you get high up from the valver. mines running pretty crap tbh so isnt making much power, need to get the carbs set up. ill get round to it at some point. | |

| relax... i PM'd them as well plus i posted on wheelwhores, Vortex, caddy, OE,E38 etc...i'm not a scam or anything new. you don't want to hear about a SCAMER in the VW world? or you want to wait till they hit you? i didn't post who or where....they can email me the info privatly. i have a ton of friend over here that have been trying to find my wheels along with bumpers, coilovers, lugs grill and other parts this "guy" stole from me and sold. look around, plus i'm not just some joker. i own a VAG tuner shop and i am well know around as well..... | |

| Not up dated this in quite a while so thought id bump it up abit lol its been on the rolling road and carbs been set up as best they can with the home made linkage, im buying a prober 1 shortly. is in winter mode at the mo with the brick pslots as you probly saw at the meet. theres quite abit id like to do to it for this years season but tbh ive lost abit of love for it lately as im thinking of other things and got alot on at the mo. Any1 interested in buying it? lol or swaps maybe? if not ill do some of the things i want to and see if that brings back the love or not lol and try n sell it at some of the shows.

| Bit of an update, seeing as i didnt get any decent offers while it was for sale it seem im keeping it for a while longer. so needed to get it looking fairly decent for the shows, see needed to get the tramonts back on but first they needed polishing because id kinda neglected them over winter. Had to wind the coilies back down from bein on the pslots and set some neg camber all round to get the stance i was after. also needed to give the roof 1 hell of a clean cuz it was almost green all over from being sat outside all winter, i used renivo softtop cleaner and protector. as a result it got to Ultimate dubs looking like this: Also fitted a new headunit and 6x9 speakers into the rear door cards (thanks mark) so ive got abit of tunage now also got a carbon gearstick surround just for a few extra scene point lol goin down to MVs friday to collect and fit my new twin cable throttle linkage and 8mm HT leads, and try and figure out the fault to why its not puttin power out at higher revs. IM FEELIN THE LOVE AGAIN Maybe more pics up when i get home onmy computeer. | |
