Mk1 cabby 2.0 16v on twin 45s

Well got abit bored this afternoon, so thought id go out for a run in the cabby n take some pics. theres a place that id gone past ages ago and thought would be a good place for some photos so thought id try it out.






took bout 20pics but they the only half decent 1s

well havnt updated this in a while so though i better had.

mainly been fixing the bloody thing as usual.

first was having the head off to have the valves reseated and new head gaskets as lost compression in 2 cylinders.




then i got some ebay special coilovers to try and sort the scrubbing issues




also gave it abit of camber the ghetto way with washes, but ive got a set of shims now ready to fit.



also painted the grille red and thats pretty much how it made it to editon38s car park

red grille sets it off a treat dude!

yeah thats from when the fuel reg broke and as much fuel as the pump could pump was goin into the carbs. thats why it wasnt playing ball on the way to londonfest or wotever it was called.

Lowered the front a little bit more 2day,



also fitted the camber shims,





No photos of the final product as it started ot get dark but its pretty much the same amount of camber as the washers but the way ive fitted them has made the toe in pretty close to normal i think.

that looks the foooookin bollocks mate

shame my gear linkgae broke on the way into ace cafe last week though

still looks awesome though

Gear linkage sorted now, even if it is still due to a cable tie, but it works so its sweet like tropicana

Cable ties are the way forward....
