i like the brown interior so thatll be staying the way it is. the plan was to not do anythin to it anymore but the doesnt seem to be workign out too well

plans like that never work out

Dont find the 45s to bad on fuel now the regulator is working lol but depends how you drive it obviously. well mine still dont run right but im sure if its put together right in the first place using the right parts instead of stuff youve got around the house then should do it once a year m8.

Yup, mohair indeed. I asked for samples of Camel, Brown and Beige. These guys supply most fitters as far as I know, but they also sell direct which is cool.

Bad news is they ain't cheap, plus if you were to pay for fitting it would definitely be bad times :(

Well they came through yesterday, look really good but they weren't marked up so I have no idea which one is which

Little update

Fitted the 280mm momo team i got from jimmy, has taken this long because i needed to get a small spline boss.

also fitted a centre console, but being from a tintop they dont fit cabbys to well so im no sure if itll be staying or not, wanna get some VDO gauges because the blanking plate has faded and looks poop.




also done a couple other fiddly bit that aint really noticable, and made my central locking stop working some how not usually a problem but when you have delocked handles both sides its quite a big 1

Yeah the only way i can get in, if it was locked is through the boot, which ive not tried but cant see it being easy being a cabby lol

yeah went for a drive around the village, and it feels well funny, but good at teh same time, find yourself turnign in too much for corners lol and i turned it round in my drive without too much problem which i though would be a mission lol

looks good mate! it felt proper weird when that wheel was in the rado for a while, but then every other car i drove felt like they had bus steering wheels compared to it!

ha well when u got bored of it let me have a go, nearly got one a while ago but they do look a bit of a mission to drive with!

you can have a lil go round the meet if you want joe to see how it is, but with you parking skills i think you need all the help ya can get haha

Bit of an update,

Well for ages ive hated my horrible coloured carpet parcel shelf, and got the idea from billy to use a mexican rug. so bought a nice browny coloured 1 to match the interior. When it turned up it was pretty big so that got me thinkin to what i could use the excess for, and my interior ended up like this







And just cuz i like this pic

Matty, I have always loved your cabby, I now love it even more with the mexican rug interior. Love the stance in the last pic. Do you use it as a daily?

Still waiting to see it in the flesh though (well, metal). Hopefully see this at the next meet in May.
