awsome thanks mate ill give them a go. i have the performance trim carbon splitter and the quality is poor in respect to the fitment. Id be happy with a fibreglass bonnet too, but all the ones ive seen are only single skin. i need one with the oem mount points so i can use the stock hinges rather than mess around with bonnet pins.... | |

| Got a windage tray, it would be rude not to fit it took the oil pump out to inspect it, and it looks almost new! But there was loads of s**t in the pickup pipe, so cleaned it out with some petrol put it back together fucked around with the brake adapters further, and had to grind part of the hub down too as it was hitting the brake pad but theyre all sorted now on both sides. Waiting on some new springs and washers then i can bleed them up. test fitted the wheels minimal clearance while the bumper was off i deskinned it and cut the middle out to save some weight but also so i can drill it if i need to get more air to the intercooler. Got some seals, rubbers, springs all the boring stuff from vw so i got them on and bled the brakes up And got a new throttle body. Realy dirty, so i took it apart put the throttle back together and knife edged it, it still needs some work before after

| Took a look underneath and noticed the fucked angle of the wishbones. driving with these like this will make it handle like s**t, so i drew up a design for a spacer which ought to put them back so they're parallel with the floor. Ideally they should follow the same arc as the drive-shaft and rack when under compression, but obviously that cant happen on a single wishbone McPherson strut setup so ill try to make it as good as possible its only rough, but ill do some proper measuring tomorow and get these milled
