Right so ive looked into insuring this, and the quotes are ridiculous.

so im putting the origional engine back in.

Better yet, sell it and get another one with the original sized engine?
Might get one with less mileage for cheaper. Then gives you a little bit of dollar floating about Cool

Also means you dont have to faff about with dumping the original lot back in.
Probably me being stupid, but just an idea.

the gti lump got rebuilt 24 k ago anyway

and i looked at about 4 mk1s before i bought this one,

theres no rust on the chassis at all, but there is some superficial (scuttle panel)

Not very interesting update

Did some more bay wiring, and did the fuel lines

then got bored,

i cut some carbon bits the other day and put them over the massive holes in the doorcards some rudeboy cut

i think they look awsome, i was going to go with carbon doorcards, but i want it to look sort of origional

before and after
