the polo gti wheels will b for sale with tyres, the wheels r in pretty bad condition n wud need a refurb, prob b a month or so b4 i get my steelies finished to go on but ill keep ya informed

thanks so much guys, after having such a poo time with my cars last year i thought it was time to get my wheels sorted, after all they have been sat in my room for about a yr now so was about time i sorted them out n got my polo looking a bit sikker, mission acomplished!

thanks, i had them banded by wide wheels, was a pain in the ass tbh as wide wheels messed me about n my wheels came back lookin less than round so needed some work to get them to where they r now! but im very happy with them. will pop up some piks soon too of the progress to now

right as the show is now over i think my thread deserves an update. as most of u have seen ive finally managed to finish my wheels and get them on in time for spring fest so heres a little build thread of my wheels, enjoy!

heres my 8's, the lips have been beaten back into shape and ive rubbed the lips down to make sure they are smooth!

next job was to send them off for a good sandblast n powder coat, was really happy with the finish, heres how they looked wen i got them home, it was like christmas agen!



now the wheels were ready for sum rubber, took me ages to decide on size and make, looked at tyrestretch.com about a thousand times but just lead to more confusion. in the end i took the plunge and ordered 2 dunlop 195/45/14 and got 1 fitted to a 9 and 1 fitted to an 8.

i was very happy with the look as the tyre didnt look too stretched on the 9 so i ordered 2 more from mytyres.co.uk

next job was a trial fitting:



as u can imagine i had a very big smile on my face seeing them finished on my car. will post some piks of the car with all wheels on and stance sorted. a huge thanks to andy for sorting my coilovers out and my stance xx
