| right.. had a search, on here, google, and e38, and cant really find anything cut and dry.. Im looking to put a 2.0 16v 9a lump from a corrado into my mk1 driver 1.3 carb (after its repaired), and just after some info.. im aware driveshafts, engine mountings, etc need to be changed, its not the fitting im worried about, its the fuelling and wiring etc. Im planning on fitting either twin webbers or bike carbs to it prior to fitting, and am lead to believe that i can leave the carb fuel setup (tank, etc) on the car and it will be good enough to run it, as long as i set the carbs up correctly, etc. IS this right? and how do i go about wiring the electrics up? is it similar to the KR conversion, as in just use the engine loom needed wiring up to my fusebox? Any info would be much appreciated, and links to previous build threads similar on ANY website would be perfect. Thanks Jonny | |

| If your gonna use carbs then yes you can keep your carb tank etc and just fit an electric fuel pump, if your using bike carbs try and get the bike fuel pump as they have a pressure regulator built in, try R1 fuel pumps i had one on my XR2 running bike carbs, just make sure you get them set up right or it will be slower than injection. You still need to wire in the ignition stuff though to control the spark. | |

| If your going the Carb route then the wiring and fueling is easy. If your going injection then you have a lot more work but again not difficult if you can source the parts. Lee will be the man to speak to with regards to wiring injection. Wiring for Carbs is easy to splice into your wiring with a KR ECU and ign controller using the below diagram: 1 - Earth to battery -ve 2 - KR ign controller plug 3 - TCI-H plug 4 - Black - KR ign controller & TCI-H ign live - terminal 15 side of coil 5 - Green - Coil trigger - terminal 1 side of coil \- red/black - spade is for the isv control unit, the main wire is the rev counter feed 6 - Brown - Earth to cylinder head 7 - Blue/white - Temp sensor feed (use one of the 3 on the side of the head) 8 - Dizzy plug 9 - red/yellow - Fuel pump relay earth trigger \- black/yellow - idle switch feed (12v feed with throttle shut) | |

| I am finding that for more power on my ABF up the top end I need more fuel pressure than 3psi so I would go for a red top pump and filter king with a gauge... | |
