my mk2 golf gti 16v

its got power flex polly bushes , braided brake hoses all round , drilled and groved discs , lsd gear box , twin 40 webbers , bbs rs 3 piece split rims , super sprint exhaust .picked it up today. 16v with twin carbs, sounds great. needs a good clean the wheels sorting and a few lil jobs but im happy as i got it cheap ish

lol it needs few lil bits sorting but not to bad

done a few lil bits put a stubby aerial on , fixed the washer jets, horn and some of the trim on better, new 8 ball gear knob and wolfsburg door pins on. waiting for the postman to bring facet red top fuel pump. new alternator and belt going on at the weekend.

new power steering belt on and expansion tank. its getting there slowly

its a vw it always takes time and there's always something to do

sub , amp and wires all in today but cant get the dam stereo to work. tryed to sort the drives seat but its missesing the white clip on the runner

after seeing matty_mk1 sub in his boot i thort id give it ago at doing sumit like that. so got sum mdf cut it tryed it in and cut and cut and cut till it nearly fitted. ended up with a gap at the top i gota fill




and got to cut the corner so the boot will shut. filled the gap and cut the hole for the sub.




fitted the sub and amp. just got to cover it in cloth and refit the carpet in the boot.

Good effort mate What are you doing in the form of the sub box? The only reason matty's sit flush is his is fibreglass.

guna build it out with sum 9mm mdf at the back of the sub

bit more done

doesnt the boot hit that corner sticking out? would look better rounded off imo.

nar all shut fine. was guna round it but would of made alot more work and im lazy lol.

well i fully recomend shakey who did mine, better quality than recent audioscape versions i think.

yeah i was told hes good.

rocker cover gasket , rad switch , thermostat and stereo done today. still runs abit hot but much better than it was. duno wot else todo to make it run colder.

could be running lean as its only usein the lift pump in the tank. got a facet red top fuel pump to go on it.
