Dot 4 or 5.1 in my g60 clutch and brakes?

as title

i need to know asap so i can order some!

I believe 5.1 is more refined for sporty/race tuned engines, so would probably be suited more for you. But don't take my word for it because i may be wrong

either will be fine dude. its only the boiling point that changes iirc. Mike maybe able to point you in the right direction.

i ran 5.1 on my old impreza which was running 8 pots, it was the AP Racing stuff. On a dif note i ran 4 on bigger discs and calipers on my other scoob.

Google it, i just did and it seems the only difference is the boiling point.

i'm using motul rbf600 and thats been good enough for me so far and was recommended it when i got my brembos, you'll need a few bottles though for a full bleed through

seems camskill are cheapest according to google

literally your choice dude its a case of get the best you can afford, 5.1 is ultimately better, higher boiling point and more resilient to water ingress

2 litres at the most i would have thought? Get a 5 litre bottle incase you have to bleed it lots and you have some for spare too then.

dot 4 is ok for you, 5.1 is really for constant high temp usage, there is little to no differance except boiling points, the rbf 600 is about as good as it gets and we use it on the viper and is recomended for brembos(dont mix with anything else though)
If you are going to use 5.1 make sure you have washed all the lines out previously as it shouldn't be mixed because of the different boiling points and viscosities.

5.1 is better suited to abs systems or tcs systems because of all the valves.

hardly it shows i ran both ratings, one on 8 pots the other on 4 pots!?

to me unless you tracking it or heavy braking alot on fast roads then dot4 is fine!
