Thurston Sunday 25th April

anyone going to this ???......its about 3 miles from bury st edmunds.....i was speaking to one of the organisers today (he's from the suffolk Capri club) and he reckons he has 340 cars booked for the show.it'll be mainly ford i guess but he said all makes are welcome as he's already booked some local club stands. It's free to get in and only a quid to enter your car into the show.

Tom4mo on here has got a stand, luke and i are going and so are a couple of other peeps. Might even bring my raddo if its repaired in time.

I went to one of the shows that the bury retro ford club (I think) put on a few years ago at Great Welneatham and they had lots of classics and included tractors. They had a bizarre tractor race to see who could go the slowest. If this is like that then expect lots of varied classic cars of all marques. I remember there was a brown eurod mk2 fiesta there which I thought was different at the time. I think it was on a carrera stand. It's Big Bang at the pod for me this weekend but i would have gone

i'll be there with a few other guys, got a little stand sorted out. mate of mine is in bury retro ford.
