| Not used the VR6 for a couple of days went to unlock it this morning using the key fob and nothing! Unlocked it manually turned the key and nowt nothing feck all totally dead. Jump started it and left it ticking over for 10 or so mins went to pull away died and wouldnt start again! Left it out side my house and jumped on my push bike! Any suggestions? | |

| Battery fecked is my first thought, not that unusual, I had it happen just recently, Check the voltage out the back of the alternator, 14.4v is good <12v isnt. Check you have no lights staying on especially the one in the boot/glove box as they will silently kill a battery. Check the main earth strap to the engine as I've had this come loose and cause the car to be a pig to start and throw up what appears to be battery issues. Charge battery over night after checking the electrolite levels and toping as neccessary. If you have access to a battery drop tester then drop test it (not literally though) The bike ride probably did you some good too !! lol.. | |
