| In the summer of 08' i had to scrap my mk2 golf GTI 8V due to unrepairable rust! For ages i was looking for a mk2 Polo square bach or a mk 2 Passat estate but couldn't find what i was looking for and really needed a car, then out of nowhere i found a mk2 Jetta on ebay for £200 with mot. straight away before i taxed it i slammed it 60mm and stuck my Borbets of my GTi on it. It was a 1.8, 8v carb and i really missed the power of the GTi so there was only one thing to do.... VR6 Converstion .. so in october 2009 i bought a mk3 golf VR6, and in November me and my good friend MARK BOWMAN AKA The Dub Baron, rolled the Jetta and the Vr6 in the the AUTO BAHN and work began, Mark was down the bahn pretty much every night working hard on the cars to get it finished. the bahn was cold and the cups of teas helped us through long nights, concidering he didn't charge me alot he's done a bloody good job by modifying engine mounts, peddle cluster, servo and steering column all to fit. its still in progress at the moment, but drivable!! in the summer Mark is going to re-spay it but im still unsure on the colour, i think jade green which it is already is or maybe white but as it is, here are the picture of the progress.......
