There is something in this but you are prob wasting your time as I bet it doesn't poke upmorw than 5mm which is acceptable and you'll be on a hiding to nothing.

Whilst I was sitting there I saw about 20 more cars take it exactly how I did and not do any damage to their car, I doubt I'd have much of a leg to stand on.

lol yes. Difference is busting your sump is standard but destroying your subframe on a man hole cover is intense. So I guess what I'm saying is:

| I m naged to rush home from work today to utilise the final 20 minutes of day light. After getting the car up on axle stands I had a good look around and there's good and bad news. The good news is the steering rack seems to be fine, the gator's come loose which from the side made it look like I had pulled the entire rack out out of line. The bad news is that it has indeed bent the chassis mount but It may be fixable, I'm going to see what the mighty VW guru thinks (aka Guy). | Max, looks like the chassis got pulled a little but the sub frame having already been roughed up seems to have folded nicely. It all looks easy enough, have welder and grinder it WILL go again with appropriate mods to subframe as discussed. Get the new one here asap and I'll strengthen it up before fitting and get it done asap. Your tea making skills are about to improve ten fold. | |

| Just seen this in person. Most impressive! Guy would you have a socket for my dads audi gearbox drain plug. Like a massive torx bit with a dimple in the middle. | |
