| I paid £40 delivered for my H1 8000k HID kit If I'm honest it was probably the best £40 I've spent. Piece of p!ss to fit and lasted me a whole year so far without any problems *touch wood* | |

| If you've got standard vento lights rather than golf lights then you will need the h4 kit which re-angles the bulb to attain high beam. The h1 bulbs are easier as each bulb only serves one purpose (on the gti lights anyway) and you need another bulb for high beam or two kits to do the job properly. I fitted them on my vr and it took about half hour a side including sorting where to put the ballast resistors. It was pretty much plug and play. Secure the ballast properly not zip tied as jolting about will kill them. One of the best things about Hid kits is if you have dim lights which is normally due to low voltage at the back of the bulb ( both mk1 + 2 and corrado's suffer this hence uprated looms availabe) so even if you have 9v at the light (very worse case) then its enough to spark the ballast over and give you 15,000+v and making your hid glow very very brightly. | |
