Well thats a load of tosh if i ever did here it, jabba would flash it with there map, i know some companies only do solder in chips though so it would all depend on who your getting prices off, i would recommend jabba as i've had no troubles with mine, you could try amd technik. | |

| There is two places in burwell, fairly near cambs that do remapping which specialise in doing audi's. Golfs cant be that different as same 1.8t engine. http://www.audi-specialists.co.ukThat bunch quoted 250 pounds to map my S3 and also took me out in one that they had already done, could really notice the difference was the same 8L chassis model as mine aswell. Im not getting mine mapped just yet though. Seems a good place. The other is http://hilbornsmotorsport.co.uk/index.htmlNot been there to suss them out yet so can't really say if they are good or not. The down side with both is neither have a rolling road i don't think. Unless i just didnt see it. | |

| yea i may give them a shout to get mine done then, dont get me wrong my car runs fine now after they (hillbourn) finished with it but just like clips missing holding the airbox hose on and my intercooler was just placed in not bolted in... they lost my smaller engine cover, the dumpvalve piping was just hanging about, i had to re route all the wiring in the bay again as it was resting/very near to the turbo this led to my speedo not working as the cables had melted too and broke many clips to hold hoses/cables to the bulkhead. I have had to replace all these at my expense. I must have spent about £60-70 on top of the £1500 bill i paid. | |

| Get R-Tech to do it, never seen a bad word said about them. There on golfgti.co.uk http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=118859.0 . Also they will come to you, they usually charge extra for coming to you but they got a deal on this month where its free . Plus the remaps only cost £200-£250. Dan EDIT: or you can take it to them and do it on there rolling road

| if u want ure car remaping it needs to be done on a rolling road to be done properly and defintley doing it on the cheap is not a good idea. My mate had his golf 20vt done at burwell an it didnt run right had to take it back and get the map taken out | |

| ebay coolers ain't to bad but a specific cooler designed for your car will mount better and pipes will be the right angles etc, Forge, pro alloy, pace may do one all good quality coolers but ain't cheap | |
