| the heater blower in my caddy doesn't work anymore, i've put a volt meter to the back of the switch in the dash and the power is getting to it. I have fitted a new switch today but still nothing, does anyone have a resistor spare that i could purchase or know where i can buy one as apparently they're obsolete :( if this still doesn't work then i'll get a new motor/blower | |

| hi im not sure if this is the case, for you, but..... the contacts on the actual blower units can get corroded, this can be a common cause for blowers not working on certain settings or in your case not at all. | |

| ok.
remove the black plastic scuttle cover, remove the white "colander" type leaf guard and slide it to the passenger side of the scuttle. then if you stand at the front of the car, look at the fan/motor infront of you and to the right hand side of the fan/motor you will see 3 spade connectors. each should have a wire on it. at least one of these wires will go round to the front of the fan/motor where you will see a green round ceramic resistor with 3 wires on it. check all plugs are connected first | |
