i got them from bigboystoys and i chose not to have the ones with bumper holes, the indicator holes havn't been cut out either not sure about the bumper yet but it wont be a wrap around one | |

| cheers for the comments lads, gonna be using a vr6 donor car so trying to keep make most things mk3 and they also delete the old holes hmmmm rocket fuel theres a thought lol, im not too sure where that volkwagen sign is going yet just cut it out of my old tailgate didn't wanna waste it wish i kept it now as it wasn't actually too bad looking at some for sale | |

| LOL thats one s**t load of steel man gotta be like hauling round a mini in the back surely, i reckon your gonna need somin bigger than that vr6 engine looks good though mate lol am i right in thinking the new welder was sitting there and you got fidgety one day or was it part of the original plan??
At this point your entitled to say fook off ya fat b*stard if ya like lol
keep up the good work chap look forward to seeing more soon. ohyeah the tailgate thing---just an idea but i dont think i've seen a tailgate made from perspex or polycarbonate ((i expect theres quite a few examples out there though)) might look the bollox if done right especially if you have the volkswagen etched onto it or somin and you can always take it off and stow it on the way to shows, drivin etc | |

| there's a guy on the caddy forum that made fibre glass tailgates, he shows pics of him jumping up n down on them to prove how strong they are. you may want to look into it if you wanna save weight | |
