my engine is on its way out, anybody got any ideas about what i could put in the polo insted of the 1L thats falling apart in it now?

somethin "easy" and "cheap" (i know its not really gonna be either!) with more power preferably!

go 1.2 1.4 or 1.6 the choice u got is quite big buddy n go breakers get the whole lot less than 400

Your best bet would probaly be a 1.4 or 1.6 8V - Take into consideration everything else aswell

Look on ebay for a 1.4 16v AFH code 100bhp, same angine mounts n all that 500 quid ive seem the lot go for even includes keys and ecu if ya lucky,Wink

1.6 or 1.4 8v would be straight swap. dont bother with 16v

looking at the price/hassel of changing the engine im probs gonna get a valver insted and swap all my suspension etc over...

just need to convince the rents to loan me the money... lol!
