| right as some of you may know i have my slow as fook 1.4 mk3.
pretty much im going to do an engine conversion in it but was wondering what to put in it.
really the only 3 options open to me at the moment are a 1.8 16v, 2.0 8v or a 1.9td. mainly because im 18 with 1 years no claims, will be 19 by the time this gets done though.
so pretty much i just need to pick your brains about whats the best engine to drop in it.
cheers lads | |

| Insurance will still be a lot for you until you get some more NCB under your belt For what it's worth i would drive your car for a couple of years the move onto something better once it dies/you've got some more NCB either way though, make sure it's a MK3 | |

| lol no offence meant kit but youve had a vtr, 600cc bike and a 1.8t golf. you have no idea what its like having a slow car, its foooookin gash. as for waiting, i have no intention on staying in this country more then a few years before i move out to the US so id rather bite the bullet and just pay more. | |
