| Cool, yeah I didn't think the weather was up to much on Sunday, bit of a shame that there was no racing though.
I'm good - got a cheapo second hand alternator that I'm gonna recondition to try and get rid of some noise under the bonnet. New bearings for it should only be about £10 so that's something to get on with!
Speaking of which, my dad has a sandblasting cabinet that I'm gonna be cleaning the casing with, along with a couple of other bits over christmas, so if there's any smallish bits you want cleaning up let me know.
Think I might be doing a little website for Paul soon too, woop woop!

| Didn't know you'd have the van sorted so soon!
Pop down any time this week to check the logo out, I'm usually back from work around 6.30 so mooch down whenever.
I think you're gonna like it, it fits the name well. I've done a few variations anyway so there should be something we can run with if you're not super keen on it.
Inabit dude! | |

Cant tempt you to a valver conversion? Yeah will let the mags update my pics for me lol!!! And you wait for pics after Bug Jam... a feature with the other watercoolers from the VWDRC and no chance with the valver conversion So to bring this up to date...a set of twin dellortos have come up which i really can't turn down Watch this space as all the parts needed to fit them will be arriving hopefully after this coming weekend...which will be the last time the Jetta will be running K-jet I've got 3 weeks after this weekend to get them on and running in time for the Gti Festival. Pics will follow soon | |

| Last night i started the strip down Started at 3.15pm... Finished this bit at 4.45pm... and all is on it's way to have this first part fitted... (It's been painted after this pic was taken I now have a box of bits in the garage with everything to convert to carbs (except the carbs themselves...but they will be here very soon ) Paul is hopefully starting the porting/polishing this afternoon The difference between the exhaust ports and the manifold was substantial...but not for long!! Fuel pump and accumulator will be off tonight and should have the new pump mounted by the time the garage closes. Then Wednesday i'm hoping to get all the fuel associated bits mounted in the engine bay and get the manifold wrapped. Then it's a case of fabricating a cold air scoop for under the bonnet. The heater Matrix and fan unit will be gone from inside the car which will leave me a nice bit of space in the scuttle panel. Things should be moving quickly Going to give the wiring a tidy up inside the bay to make it look a bit neater and not quite so cluttered. | |
