ive just bought a 1.8 16v tuned by brmotorsport and need some carbs what are better 40s or 45s ?. also do i need to change the wiring from my 1.5 engine to fit the 1.8 or will the timing be different? can you help

you will need a different loom.
For a 16v you really need 45s to give you any room for tuning later on.
