| Well sadly ive sold my beetle, and ive bought my self a golf driver for £475 which i thought was pretty good, its had one owner from new, seems pretty clean, but its not perfect i dont have many plans for it. Ive just ordered some coilovers so once ive got them im gonna deck it 120mm hopfully they will be on before the next meet. But once they are on gunna find ways of getting it lower . Also im gonna get some chrome trimmed bumpers, not to sure what im gonna do with wheels yet, might leave them but if a set of cheap banded steal come up then ill be tempted. anyways here are some pictures of how it is now. gonna get rid of them 4 headlights should do the job

| if you want it lower than 120mm take the little assister springs out of the coilies. They are only there to keep the big spring in place when its jacked up for MOT purposes. Ask joe how low mine was with the assisters out. | |

| looks a pretty tidy example. is the bit under the headlights slightly kinked on the drivers side? get the rear wiper layed flat as well, doesnt take long, but looks a lot better when done. banded steels and dropped will always look good on a mk2. might need some slightly smaller profile tyres though. haha

| quick update. me and my brother fitted the coilies this evening , wound them down to 120mm and put them on, and the great thing is that we didnt do any arch work, tires only rub on full lock which is good. it sits nice and low but i think it needs to go a bit lower to be honest. also go a single headlamp grill on thanks to tiz. i was also thing of spraying my wheels black but i dont know yet. heres some quick pictures. ill get some daylight ones up tomorrow. im quite happy with the stance at the moment. its very bumpy what do you guys think? | |
