| I thought i would get started on this now as i have nothing better to do on this friday night I have bought myself a MK4 golf TDI as I'm hoping you can see below. I have had the car for just over a week and really enjoying it. Not the best picture in the world but hoping to get a decent day time picture up in the next few days. I have a few plans for it but as i am going to uni in September it will be a slow project. I have been tinkering about with it and started on a couple of things just to get me going. Debadging the boot was job one, a couple of little scuffs left that i still need to polish out but it came out fairly well. I have picked up a decent set of Audi TT alloys off Lupton and they looked quite good so thought they would make a good set of winter wheels for the meantime. And given i had some time off work i thought i would have a stab at refurbing a set of wheels for the first time :S After a day and i bit of sanding i think i have finished the first wheel (sanding wise) That is it for the moment. Ive got a couple of things planned for next few months which include: A set of Aero Blades (i cant stand the standard ones so a cheap upgrade will help) Sort out the paint work (there are a few nicks here and there so nothing a bit of polishing wont fix) Audi alloys painted and on the car Coilovers (will be nice to get rid of the boat feel going round a corner) ICE (will be after a decent double din head unit with ipod connection as i will get sick of the radio soon and i dont have any tapes to speak of) I will hopefully get a few more things onto this thread over the next month or two. Thanks for looking p.s im hoping the pictures upload as i will have just wasted my time.

| Finally got a couple of daylight pictures The TT wheels have been sanded and are ready to be painted And the wheels after painting, i wasn't sure to begin with as i wanted anthracite but couldn't find it. But very happy with them after seeing them on the car Unfortunately, the previous owner put in some shocking locking wheel nuts so they just rounded off in the centre. Got three of them off with the help of lupton and his threading tool. And for inconvenience, the last one wouldn't budge at all so had to throw the standard alloys back on. Will hopefully get the last locking nut off over the next couple of days and get the new wheels on. Will get some pics up once they are on. Also picked up a cheap stereo off Anthony on here to replace the standard tape player as i'm getting fed up of the radio. That will go in tomorrow. Will hopefully invest in a decent double din once funds permit it

| Unfortunately that is the only place to park the rest of the family got dibs on spaces round the back before i got a car. So i went down to technics in haverhill and a nice man hammered away at the remaining locking nut, for free i might add. Here are remains of that bolt. The wheels are now on the car and i think they look pretty good. Also threw in the sony stereo, minus the front trim. Thats it for now but will keep you posted
