| Found something today im unhappy about the hockey seals on the front doors dont touch the glass and leak water into the doors and bottom of doors dont have drain holes. It seems the seals on the bottom of the opening quarters are a bit wide and opens the gap between the inner and outer doorskin and window gap is too large.
Anyone have any ideas on what to do??

| Its on the drop down glass otherwise I would of siliconed it lol. I looked along the bottom of the doors from the outside and couldnt see no drain holes as I thought there must be some. Will look again when I go down there and wont be able to get pics until next weekend as im away till wednesday evening with work and thursday im out the lads. On the plus side ive sourced a complete and running spare GX engine with carb etc for just £20 so will be picking that up on the way back from preston wednesday. Dont really need it but thought for £20 may be handy if I break something and can just swap the bits over. | |

| Im actually looking at coilovers now. What are you guys running and what do you recommend.
Am looking at KW V1 Basic (steel tubes not aluminum ones, height adjustable only), AP adjustable (height and damping adjustable), Weitec GTN (height adjustable only) or is there any other good coilovers around £500-600.

| I did look at GAZ ones as there is someone that sells them a couple miles from me at a reasonable price but it's a 6 week wait to have them made to suit car and I need some before that. | |

| Yes and yes but you still need gti rear wishbone mounts mate. Those tabs clamp the arb to the gti mount. | |

| Got a pair of proper original mirrors, the ones that came on the car had been painted grey. They had been sprayed well but just don't like the colour. | |

| Cheers Lee and I know that you really want my fiesta hot rod wheels but your just kidding yourself as you probably cant get them over your brakes now.
I have been given a pair of mirror adjuster grommets for free last night and hopefully got a pair of brackets for the front ARB to go on rear wishbone for £10 posted. Although a little birdie tells me you have a rear ARB you may sell soon? If im free sunday then I may well drive up mate but will let you know.

| Haha lol, 15's minimum now bud. There maybe a rear arb going spare, if not you could remove it from my other gti shell if you pop up.
I'll be down there Sunday for a good while as I have someone possibly coming to collect rear doors and wings from the 5dr shell
