| mk1 golf gti starting problem. starts straight away in the morning. but if driven for a while and then left for 20 minutes or so, it takes forever to start up again. any ideas please? | |

| not modified. just takes ages to fire up when warmed up and left standing for a while. just keeps turning over then eventually fiires up. possibly a sensor ? | |

| Have you tried unplugging the 5th injector? Also, could be faulty warm up regulator/connection | |

Yes mate. 2 fuel lines and a plug. Check the wires to it aswell, being so old, they tend to break easy | |

| yes unplugged them, but still same problem. do you know anyone near barhill who is fairly clued up on mk 1s who could spare me a bit of time and have a look at it. and give me some advice and point me in right direction. thanks for your reply. | |
