flat tyre Empty
PostSubject: flat tyre   flat tyre EmptySun Aug 05 2012, 16:09

It's become apparent that my ats cups are allowing my tyres to leak air. The tyres were brand new on a couple of weeks ago and the car has sat for two weeks whilst I have been on holiday and now is completely flat. I'm aware that alloy wheels can allow this to happen is there anything that can be done to save the wheel or should I Look into replacing the individual wheel or even invest in new wheels as the ats cups are in a sorry state
Thanks
Callum

hi there, take youre wheels to a tyre fitter and all they will need to do is take the tyre of and wire brush the lips the tyre sits against and put some tyre sealant on them.

this is very common with alloy wheels as they corrode up by weather water etc then leak out air slowly
