| Subject: HELP! - Repairing a flat-spot? Tue Jul 06 2010, 16:42 | |
| Anyone know where I can get a flat-spot on the lip of my wheel straightened out?
Just received my split rims today (major refurb needed as paint looks awful), but one has a slight flat spot. Enough of a flat-spot on the lip to notice when you roll them along a flat surface.
Nowhere near a buckle, just a flat spot.
So yeah, anyone know of a place thats local that can bend it back out? Only needs to be pushed 2-4mil out again. And prices?
Any info would be mucho appreciated!

| Cheers Lee. On closer inspection it looks like there may be 2 of the 4 wheels with flatspots. Argggh, that'll teach me for using eBay. Anyway, i'll give the Wheel Genie guys a shout and see what they can do. The guy I bought them off said that he didn't realise and that would help pay for them to be repaired. Pretty good of him, but to be fair, he should do anyway. Cheers again Lee | |

yeah what condition were the boxes in when you got them? The guy wrapped them up in a sh!t condition anyway. It was DHL, then transferred onto Fastway Couriers. Seems like the guy chose the uber-cheap route. And no, I dont think they were damaged by DHL. Even if they were, it's the sellers fault for wrapping them up like a retard. And either way, he's paying up
