Flat-seated wheel bolts... Empty
PostSubject: Flat-seated wheel bolts...   Flat-seated wheel bolts... EmptyTue Jun 14 2011, 17:06

Ok, so I know they exist.
But unfortunately for me, they don't exist in the spec I need (well, not that I can find anyhow).

I'm looking at another set of wheels, but they fit using flat-seated bolts.
My BMW takes tapered seated bolts (and VW's usually take radius seated bolts).

I need them in an M12x1.5 size so they fit perfectly into my hubs, but with a flat-seat so they face up against the wheel properly.
I know Peugeot/Citroen (french brands) have flat-seated bolts but they're all M12x1.25.
I can't seem to find anywhere that produce, let alone sell them in M12x1.25 fitment.

Anyone know of somewhere I might be able to get them?
Or is it a case of either converting to stud & nut, or getting a set of tapered bolts and grinding the seat flat? (which i'd rather not do).

Any help is appreciated!

Speak to Bob at Trident, google it. He's at the silverstone track.

He can supply bolts to any spec you like, he's proper clever too oh but not cheap.
